The home stretch

So, the entire time I was driving across the midwest I have been dreaming about finding an undammed river full of clear, sparkling water, maybe with some nice rocks to lie on, a little bit of shade and not too close to a lumber mill. In Montana and Wyoming I have been wondering when I will see stunning mountain vistas and breath in the aroma of the evergreen forests. Well, turns out I had to wait to get home to BC for all that. Shortly after crossing the Columbia river and then the border into Grand Forks, BC I saw the rivers I was looking for all around me. I stopped to swim in water 10 feet deep and so clear you could see the bottom, lined with smooth rocks and a sandy bottom. Basically, I found the best swimming hole, ever.
